Karin’s initial training to become a yoga instructor started in White Rock in 2015, which was a natural progression after having practiced yoga herself for many years. It was a work related injury that led her to yoga, and the practice helped de-stress and heal.
Why does she love yoga? Because it is so good for us, both mentally and physically. Practicing at a class, surrounded by other practitioners, is also a community experience, which is so important in our fast-paced stress-filled world. It is the way that yoga combines the body, mind and breath that is so beneficial for overall wellness.
Becoming a yoga instructor was a dream of hers for years, as it was time to share her love and belief in the healing practices of yoga with others.
